Friends Find Finds at “Food and Fashion” Festival
Friends and neighbors in the 32nd St Corridor of Phoenix enjoyed pretzels, pizzas, waffles, and fashion at the Food and Fashion truck Festival on Tuesday, October 18th.
The bi-weekly festival, held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, runs from 5-730p, and features a rotating cast of local food trucks and mobile boutiques.
Photo collages shared on Instagram inform area residents of which mobile merchants will be serving at the festival.
“It’s always fun,” said resident Brandon Wells, a mechanic in the area, “we try to stop by after work if the traffic’s not too bad.”
For the Festival’s two-year anniversary this past Tuesday, coordinator Amy Falkenberg, who owns Boutique-a-Gogo, asked event veterans Saffron JAK, Waffle Love, and Mustache Pretzels to join newcomers What’s Fresh?, Nut Sack Foods, and other fashion vendors.
“It was great to have some of the original trucks back together on site,” Falkenberg said, “I really enjoyed the food.”
Mustache Pretzels’ efforts were lead by first-time shift-runner Nick Jacobson, and crew member Danielle Miller.
